Amanda Rieb is the owner, creative director and a licensed Gold Label Faux Effects professional. She is a member of the Society of Guilders and her work has been published in several Design Articles.

Amanda studied at Harper College and Lorenzo de’ Medici University in Florence. Her studies included Fine Art, Interior Design, High Renaissance Art History and Sculpture.  During her college years she worked for a decorative painting company which in turn sparked her interest in faux and mural art.


Amanda furthered her education at the Faux Design Studio in Addison IL. She has spent years traveling around the country attending various classes/seminars for the decorative artist and still continues to do so. 
It was at the Faux Design Studio that she discovered an exquisite line of products specifically designed for faux painting.  Faux Effects Intl. Gold and Silver label products are the highest quality product line available to a decorative artist today. 
Amanda continues to attend update classes and bi-annual faux events at various studios to keep up with the latest trends of the industry, and to learn about and use new cutting edge techniques and products.
